Calendar: Seminars, Grand Rounds, Workshops and Trainings
The purpose of this calendar is to centrally locate a listing of seminars, grand rounds, workshops and trainings from across the institution.
At a glance abbreviations: S = Seminar, GR = Grand Round, W = Workshop, T = Training
To Bookmark the Calendar:
- Go to: http://muschealth.com/activecalendar/default.aspx?type=1&view=Grid&category=90-0
- At the top of the page, select Add to My Favorites
- Once the calendar has been bookmarked, right click on the bookmark and select Properties
- Paste the above link into the URL, click Apply, then click OK
To add your existing events to our calendar:
- Logon to your MUSC Active Calendar
- Click on the Marketing tab
- Under Event Type, select Private
- Under Category(s)/Subcategory(s), select SCTR
- Click Submit
- Events from your calendar will now be automatically added to the SCTR calendar. You can make changes to your events directly and it will immediately affect your events on the SCTR calendar.
To add an event to your Outlook calendar:
Using Internet Explorer:
- Click on the event you would like to add – opening a second window
- Click "add to my calendar" above the event title
- Choose the event file type (iCal or vCal) and click Submit
- In Internet Explorer, a notice will appear at the top of your browser prompting you to click for options
- Click the notice and select Download File
- You will need to click add to my calendar and choose your option again, but this time your internet browser will allow the download.
- A File Download dialog box will appear
- Click Open
- This will create an Outlook Appointment with the event details.
- Click Save & Close.
- This event will now appear in your Outlook Calendar.
Using Firefox:
- Click on the event you would like to add – opening a second window
- Click "add to my calendar" above the event title.
- Choose the event file type (iCal or vCal) and click Submit.
- A File Download dialog box will appear.
- Click Open.
- This will create an Outlook Appointment with the event details.
- Click Save & Close.
- This event will now appear in your Outlook Calendar.
To add calendar as an RSS Feed:
- Click on the orange RSS icon to the right of the month and year at the top of the calendar
- Click Subscribe to this feed.
- Click Subscribe
- The RSS Feed is now located in the same area as your favorites.
